Craft Description
Its an ancient resist-dyeing technique that includes folding twisting pleating a fabric and then dyeing it to produce different textures of dyes. This weaving technique also makes for beautifully textured fabrics as the weft threads are alternated between colored warp threads. The result is a dramatic transformation of the fabric with multiple colors interwoven throughout the entire piece.
